Yep, You're a mensch, Thanks,

will keep this conversation going about such an interesting amp. BTW, Roger McGlaughlin great Aussie bass player is an avid fan of these, his settings are extreme! All buttons pressed, and some bass boost playing a warwick Crazy how different we all are.

OK Progress made !

Last nights rehearsal, much more control using q2 and q3 and a tiny bit of bass boost on Q2, much better. Interestingly the power amp red light was coming on occasionally driving an auilar gs212 8 ohm cab , in a small practice studio not too loud.

Yes, and on reflection it was quite loud, a full kit, guitarist, keys through a PA.

That's what it would be....mine does the same. I'm not sure what the limiter is meant to achieve... .Saving speaker cones maybe! I usually use mine with an 810 cab so by the time the limiter starts kicking in it's intensely loud!
I did ask on the Warwick forum the exact function of the limiter on this amp an no one could answer.

Looking for a bass cabinet for my little Trace Elliot Elf and saw a listing of Warwick WCA 210 bass cabinet supposed to be rated at 4 ohms but it may be 8 ohms. There are no reviews anywhere. Anyone familiar with these, wondering if would be good match up with the elf? Listed at 60 lbs it is heavy but this will mostly be for inside the house. I see they make a little 2x8 bass cabinet also.
