That's one of the best beginnings to an album ever, I hadn't thought about it in a long time, and I am so glad you reminded me of it.

If I was going to drop my opinion on every bass sound I don't agree with in this thread, I'd be here all day. However, it would be one post, because of the multi-quote function.
You just described bass "guitar" sounds.
