The Weirdest Song You've Ever Heard?

There's a story worth briefly recounting:
In 1974, a studio in Stockholm has an "open doors" day, meaning anyone who wants to make a record can step up to the mic and sing, be accompanied by a professional band, and have their very own 45 rpm single pressed for not much money. A young man walks in and declares he'd like to lay down two old standards - Cheek To Cheek and Fly Me To The Moon (with extant Swedish lyrics). When the band has trouble deciding what the key should be for this guy, he says he'll dispense with accompaniment and just record his vocals. That he does. The engineer is mystified, but the guy says it sounds fine, let's do the other one. He pays for 50 copies of the single, and that is that. - Many years later someone finds a copy in a dumpster, plays it out of curiosity, and that's where the legend starts. It's played on national radio, and dubbed "strangest Swedish recording ever". There's a search to find this Leif Andersson. He is eventually located, having changed his name, and says he threw the records away because they "sounded bad". - Go figure.

Bill Laswell on the bass? Seems like Last Exit is free jazz, something that I sometimes like, sometimes hate. Defo appreciated!
Napoleon XIV was into Dylan,which may explain the first few bars of the instrumental part of intro to his "A-side" hit song, not sounding unlike the intro to Dylan's 'Rainy Day Women', before the trombone.
Just when we thought it was safe to turn on the radio w/o hearing that hit, along comes this wannabe...
Old news now, but my neighbor brought over the ARS album and played it for me and tried to convince me it was Stevie Nicks.
He also showed me that one of the band members last name was Nix, and tried to use that as an argument.
It does kind of sound like her in spots:

Don't ask me why, but I've heard the slowed down Jolene, many years ago... Heh its defo a good one! Ok that Josephines perspective into Napoleon getting taken away is funny!
Entertaining, but to be honest, I don't find these "weird" as songs, personally.
I guess its like for many songs on this thread, musically the songs aren't that weird or special - even if lyrically humorous!
It's a tie. "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" or "Prelude To The Afternoon Of A Sexually Aroused Gas Mask" By Frank Zappa. Both selections are off of the "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" album. Rzzzzz! Just remembered, honorable mention to The Turtles for "Umbassa The Dragon". Not sure what the deal was with that one. Whew!

Ah, from the nerd box? Nimoys Bilbo Baggins and the oompa-loompa-song from the first "Chocolate factory" compete and are bound for a tie in The Childrens Song Most Likely To Cause Acute Psychosis In Adults.
I heard this track won the 4th place in The Songs You Are Least Likely To Playlist During Mothers Day -competition!
That was actually... kind of refreshing - although this atonal music gets even more repetitive than genre/pop-music does, once you listen to more than 2 compositions. Yeah not "ugly" to me, at all.
