The what beer are you drinking (and or rating) thread.

Another favorite.

Just got one myself. I am really digging the assortment this year, I wish they would have put the chocolate bock in last year instead of that costal wheat. Unfortunately I don't think I should touch any for awhile, I think I might have an ulcer :hmm:

I've never had the coastal wheat. I tallied up my Sam count awhile back and I'm short 9 beers from their completing their collection.

I also forget I still had 4 Sams in the fridge when I went out and bought my La Fin Du Monde and Real Ale Octoberfest. Whoops. Good thing I don't have anything to do tomorrow.

Chocolate Bock is delicious! So is coastal wheat...it's kinda summer-y, as you'd imagine. you'll enjoy it when you get a chance

I like it. It's a refreshing ale with a slight hoppiness and there is a little bit of a floral citrus to it.

Tried this one tonight.

I like the IPA more than the DOA. The IPA had a more unique flavor and a stronger hops flavor. Less citrus more floral.

FWIW I also had a few glasses of this afterwards:

Except it was the 2007. For the uninitiated this is Maynard's cellar. Yes that Maynard.

It's been about a year since I had it, but as I recall it was similar to Blue Moon. I honestly could be way off though, it was a year ago and I could be confusing it with Sunset Wheat. I do remember it being a Belgian style wheat ale though.
