Had a Duclaw Colossus on New Years. 21%+ ABV. Like drinking apple pie dipped in alcohol. Too sweet. They need to add more hops to offset all that sweetness from the massive grain bill needed to get a ridiculous alcohol content. Dogfish does this well with their 120 Minute.

Stone's 14th Anniversary Emperial IPA. Very nice IPA and very different. Unlike my usual preference of Cascade, Simcoe, and Amarillo in IPA's, this one is bombed with Kent Goldings and gives that distinctly British bitter edge. I really liked, even better than their usual imperial IPA. Recommended!

Had one of these on Christmas. Wow. VERY VERY chocolatey. Too much so. The first taste was yummy, but after a few pulls it was just too much. Maybe nice as a 4 oz after dinner drink, but 12 oz was complete overload. Would not have again, and I'm a chocolate fiend.

As far as chocolate beers go, I much, much prefer Young's Double Chocolate, and, if you consider it a chocolate beer, Founder's Breakfast Stout.

This is 9% alcohol and bitter as all hell. Too dark and bitter for me. Plus it's a stout. I'm not a fan.

Go figure, a Canadian drinking Pilsner. It's got a tinny taste to it (even in the bottle), but it's good if you're going to a party. Here in Alberta, you can get a six pack of the tall cans for 13$...Pretty good deal, IMO.

Just found a new GF sorghum beer called bard's while a little more expensive it does taste a bit more hoppy and a bit darker than redbridge Highly recommended if your celiac.

It should be easier to make a good-tasting sorghum IPA than a less intensely-flavoured beer. The extra hoppiness should mask the sourness of the sorghum pretty well.

Wonder why no-one does this?
