One of the beers I was drinking on my birthday. I saw my buddy drinking it and accused him of stealing two of the beers he game me as a present (thinking he gave me a 6 pack minus 2). Turns out they not only had Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale on tap, but the were also selling Ranger IPA by the bottle there too. What a great night. Still feeling shakey from it.

Just got back from the local German restaurant where I enjoyed an Ayinger Celebrator so much I had to have a second one It went really well with the rahm schnitzel. It was on tap and boy was it tasty. Later, I'm cracking some more of the Weihenstephaner dark wheats then I'll go shoot some fireworks at my neighbor's house. Only in Alabama....

Unibroue makes some nice beers. They are very easy to get over here.

Last night I drank 2 of the Stone Brew's Sublimely Self-Righteous Ales, which got me going, but then I screwed up and drank a half a bottle of limoncello. I was feeling pretty good up until I woke up this morning. I even played my bass lines well last night at the gig. That kind of surprised me since I usually start to suck after 2 beers.

As of lately, I've had Boulevard and Sam Adams imperial stouts. I'm not saying they suck, but I'm much more partial to O'Dell and North Coast, although I'm pissed at North Coast for making sure DeMolen's original Rasputin wasn't imported into the US.
