I got that pack from my secret santa last year. I thought one was barely ok (the white ale? or maybe the Winter lager). Old Fizzewig is the only beer I've ever poured down the sink. Putrid.

AWESOME beer. My favorite wine/beer shop keeps this stuff on tap in their little bar, so I pick up a growler of it every two weeks or so. That actually reminds me... the owner owes me a free growler of either that or Thomas Creek's "Up The Creek" IPA.

My local regularly has it as one of the guest beers. At least, I seem to remember that they do, but the recollection is a little hazy. :confused:

As much as I love to splurge on pricey microbrews and imports, I have come to the realization that my official standby will forever be Fuller's London Porter. It's so incredibly balanced, and has such a dynamic flavor that opens up as it reaches room temperature, that I can't ever see myself stocking another beer as my 'daily brew'. It's not excessively sweet like so many porters/stouts, has a mild biterness, and has such a complex array of flavors going on that nothing really stands out, rather they all merry deliciously. And at 5.4 ABV, it's not too strong that you can't have a couple in a row.

Man, do I love British beers.

Just got one myself. I am really digging the assortment this year, I wish they would have put the chocolate bock in last year instead of that costal wheat. Unfortunately I don't think I should touch any for awhile, I think I might have an ulcer :hmm:
