I'm definitely not trying to be political here. But I was fascinated to learn via this mornings news that playing songs from this "list" is becoming an accepted way of attempting to disperse crowds. A sonic fire hose if you will. I wonder if how this makes the songwriters feel? What songs would you blare from a loudspeaker if you needed to disperse a crowd?

I think the Kars 4 Kids band could be massively improved by canning their rhythm section and replacing them with this dynamic duo ...

I used to work in a record store and got to be an expert at "dispersing crowds". It was all about who the crowd was. Slayer for oldsters, Ray Coniff for metalheads, etc. It's an art.
