I kind of thought that way for a long time, too, still not into cookie monster death metal vocals, but there are always exceptions. These young fellas from NZ are clearly thrash metal, not my genre at all, yet have me fascinated...

A lot of people tend to avoid Death Metal or Thrash because of the fans sometimes. Sometimes it's the music, it's not for everyone but I think for those who are into some interesting instrumental work should give it a try, the vocals on some songs are not for everyone definitely. Alien Weaponry is a great group, they are getting more people into the genre and also keeping the Māori image alive!
