When I was an undergrad in music school circa 1979 one of the academic requirements was several credits from the English Department, so I took a class on writing record reviews. One of the pieces we were assigned to review was ^^^that original recording of Ornette Coleman's "Dancing In Your Head"
Taking a hint from Rolling Stone Magazine's "The Record Review As Fiction" I wrote about a hypothetical military incursion on some alien planet, where one of the advance enlisted commanders was complaining to his ranking officer how his men had no way to combat the superior weaponry of the alien forces, especially their sonic onslaught known as "Coleman"
The funny thing is, now 40-something years later, I love that tune!

Just make a playlist of local bands’ music. Easiest way to get an empty venue is to play local originals.
After I've been to the funeral of a 6-month old boy where they played Tears in Heaven from Clapton as they carried in the casket, I seriously can't stand that song..
It was 25 years ago and still turn off the radio whenever that song comes on.

Well, that's a crowd that can't really disperse, can they? If it's real, that is. A captive audience, for sure. But in most venues, I'm sure that noise would disperse the crowd.
When I wanted to clear out unwanted guests I used to play my Captain Beefheart records which worked great until it became cool to like him. This might do the trick

This isn't a new thing; I seem to recall during the US invasion of Panama in 1989 that Noriega sought shelter in the Vatican embassy and the US troops were playing obnoxious music through loudspeakers to annoy the staff and get them to turn him over.
According to wikipedia it was a "Van Halen cassette tape provided by Special Forces Sgt. John Bishop".
So apparently Van Halen is considered to be "hated" music. I like vintage VH, but what do I know.

In a group I had in the 80's our crowd dispersal medley was Moonlight Serenade followed immediately by Whiter Shade of Pale. Right now it's Born to be Wild as loud as we can play it. Drives them right out the door!
What the hell is going on with this guy? Whoever produced this gem decided there would be absolutely no effort put towards synching his mouth with the song. And what a song... thank you for this.
When I was a baby anytime my mom needed me to go to sleep she said she would play Barry. Apparently the smooth sounds of Manilow put me right to sleep.
Current day, I cant stand the Cars for Kids jingle on the radio. Turn it down everytime that commercial comes on. If they blarred that at me through a loudspeaker, I would disperse.
