The world's most hated songs

I would put this short song from the Deedle Dudes toys on an infinite loop. My daughter had one of these in her room and since it is sound activated, would scream out a quick "Ah" when she woke up in the morning, followed by the Deedle Dude song, repeat forever coming over the baby monitor. It will wake you up. Oh, and if there was loud thunder, that would also set it off.

I think your objection has more to do with the routine misuse of the word ‘hate’ to signify ‘dislike’ or “strongly don’t agree with” - or when used in an attempt to claim a moral high ground by characterizing an opposing viewpoint as such - than anything else.

No need for virtue signaling in this particular context. I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind could summon up an emotion as strong actual hatred towards something as inconsequential as a song. ;)
Good point, but I was far from trying to be virtuous. More pointing out the snobbery that occurs when people try to be too cool for the room. I see your side on it though and I can understand why what I said came across that way. Either way, it’s just music. lol

I'm definitely not trying to be political here. But I was fascinated to learn via this mornings news that playing songs from this "list" is becoming an accepted way of attempting to disperse crowds. A sonic fire hose if you will. I wonder if how this makes the songwriters feel? What songs would you blare from a loudspeaker if you needed to disperse a crowd?

Really depends on the target audience
