The worst part about college

Well, I've heard things are different at Newcastle University, but then we know how archaic, ridiculous and quite frankly how poor that University is!

Basically my registration wasn't accepted by the new computer system and I had to spend 3 hours with a computer tech sorting it out.

I think the worst part of college is waking up at 6 a.m. to get on a train for 2 hours to go to a 9 a.m. class because i decided to see a concert with my girlfriend. I'm not whining about my girl, more the class - it was never supposed to be at 9 a.m. I got screwed, their online system, as i was trying to move my class, locked me out of registration thereby blocking me from getting any other class time.

The worst part of college is the MASSIVE amount of debt I will be in when I'm done.

Also, don't complain about early labs. It's pretty standard to have a lab start that early.

Too many best parts to bother whining about anything.. I'm with Maki but only wish I'd tried to nail every girl I could all thru college.. had a girlfriend til junior year, then luckly I saw the light.. it's oh so warm in the light...

I know. Its 5 hours, when the hell can they schedule it. I just hate waking up before 11am.

The debt for me is going to be outrageous.

I've been in labs that are 6 hours long and I'm a chem major. There is no use whining to me.

Also, wait until you don't have a choice in classes/labs and the only class you need is offered at 8 am and the lab doesn't start until 2pm.

I'm also a chem major. Like I said, I love the labs (we just did modifications of an Sn1 rxn) I just hate the times. It sucks having a 7:30AM lab on a thursday, but at least its not 7:30 am on a Saturday.

Are you concentrating in a particular subfield of chemistry, or are you just doing general?

At the university I attended (and where my wife now works) tuition only accounts for about 25% of the budget.

haha, only a Newcastle Uni tech could fiddle with a computer for 3 hours before realising it wasn't plugged in!

The worst part about college is having to wake up and go to class for an exam when you'd like to have sex with the girl who's bed you slept in one more time before having to ignore her in the caf.
