The ad doesn’t really say if the OP did the “remodel” or not. For my purposes, I’m going to assume he did.
This is the kind of situation that if Antiques Roadshow came to his town and he brought this in to be reviewed, the appraiser would hop the table and do this to him.

The ad seems to be a result of the same stuff that inspired the modification back then.
6500 is the correct number. However, the dollar isn't the correct currency.

Seems like a very poor place to put the jack - right on top of the knobs that, you know, your fingers might want to turn. Part of me thinks you ought to change the hardware for something with a lot less corrosion - it'd mesh with the visual vibe better if the bridge didn't look like an old barbed wire fence.
I occassionally see a few "wouldn't it be cool if......" instruments for sale. They usually fail to meet the owner's expecations and end up for sale.
