Renaissance. They developed a cult following in the DC to NYC corridor in the late 70s. Their bassist was a guy name Jon Camp who is really terrific, though I don't think he plays anymore. I've not been able to find out much about him online.

Jules and the Polar Bears. Am I the only person who really digs this band? They put out two albums in the late 70s of really great pop/rock and then disappeared. According to Spotify, they've got 274 monthly listeners, which is an absolute crime.

Annie Haslam has lived in the Philly area for quite a while. I don't know how much Renaissance performs outside this area but they do quite a bit around here and she also does "solo" shows, too. We've seen them several times at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, NJ and once each at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside (I also have a DVD they recorded at the Keswick, a show we weren't able to go to) and at the Yestival at the BB&T Paviliion in Camden. Seems like she also performs quite a bit at the Sellersville Theater, but that's a longer trip for us so we haven't been there yet. She's in her 70's now and admittedly doesn't have the voice she had back in the 70's, but she still Annie.
