Things only Australians do.

This is something I'm pretty sure you can only do in Australia (although people from all over the world do it here) and that is skiing amongst gum trees.

A British man is visiting Australia.

The man at customs asks him "Do you have a criminal record?"
The British man replies "I didn't think you'd need one to get into Australia any more."

The British man replies "Walking on the moon?"......I'll get me coat :bag::rolleyes:

I spent 3 months there in 94/95.
I thought there would be work in Sydney, preparing for the Olympics, but all the big cities were overrun with South Africans & Hong Kongers (with Commonwealth passports) looking for work.
So, I set out on a "walkabout" across the country by bus & train.

I enjoyed Nowra & Melbourne quite a bit.

King's Cross was a pretty big let-down, after Bangkok.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that almost every job I was on in my 15 years in Thailand had me working with Ozzies, and we got along great.

I still use this one, and you'd be surprised how many people just nod and pretend to know what you're talking about, when they don't.
:roflmao:
