Use of the word trending instead of headlines.
The sports radio station I listen to used to have sports headlines a couple times an hour. I'd listen for him to say headlines and turn it up a little more or pay closer attention. Now, they ditched headlines and report on 'what's trending'.

Oh, you mean the "Gloom & Doom" news and weather forecasts. Our local TV stations do that too. One local TV station's weather segment is called the "Severe Weather Forecast" even if it's 80 degrees and sunny.

Pickguards. They look as crappy as those plastic wind deflectors that people put on the front of their trucks.....or the clear plastic seat covers that people put on their furniture.

Or that vinyl thing they stick in their shirt pockets to hold a pen.

Pickguards look like something a noob would stick on a bass because they're so inept
they can't pick without gouging the body.
