Things that annoy you

Joe Rogan. I've listened to his podcasts on and off for a while and basically reached the conclusion that he is a conspiracy nut, narcissist and generally a bit of a pseudo-intellectual. The podcast with the comedian and actor George Perez recently is a good example. It starts off with Rogan taking a real interest in his guest, in this case encouraging Perez to talk candidly about his time in prison and how he was convicted. By the second hour Rogan is rambling on about pyramid construction to a noticeably bored Perez. Joe routinely takes to talking over his guests in a hyperactive manner while somewhat hilariously, chastised the alt-right loon, and neckbeard hero Milo Yiannopoulos for apparently doing the same thing purely because Joe disagreed with Milo on an issue surrounding religion.

Rogan seems to unquestioningly accept woo theories, under the tiresome umbrella of 'I'm just asking questions'. He comes across as gullible and unquestioning, most of the time, like a teenager that watched Zeitgeist last week and won't shut up about it. He also shills ridiculous alt-medicine products like 'Alpha Brain', and confuses having the voracious drug consumption of a college fratboy, and the ensuing "deep"conversations, with being a deeply intellectual philosopher. All from a guy that was pretty anti-drug a scant few years ago.

I'm also sick of him endlessly mentioning The Comedy Store, things he got up to when making The Man Show or Fear Factor, Joey Diaz and, of all things, coyotes. He gave cryptozoologist nutbag David Paulides way too much time to openly promote his ridiculous-premised and ridiculously overpriced Missing 411 books (tl;dr: I'm not saying its Bigfoot, but its Bigfoot).

In short, a slap-headed egomaniac man-child of limited critical analysis and reasoning skills and even more limited attention span. Enjoys the sound of his own voice way too much. Whilst there is something virtuous about promoting self development and self improvement, he has ultimately floundered with an audience of glib fellow pseudo-intellectuals who use words such as "beta" and "cuck" as insults. While supposedly fighting the corner of masculinity in an increasingly gender-confused world, Rogan unintentionally propagates the sort of sickening self-loathing and inferiority complex in his followers that he himself claims to have fought hard to get out of. If you haven't quit your cube-farm job to go uncover the truth about the moon landings while, simultaneously hunting coyotes and bench-pressing 300 lbs down at the Comedy Store with Joey Diaz, then you aren't achieving everything you could be. Buy Alpha Brain to get started, only $50 shipped!

I got one for you if you have XM/Sirius: Ron Bennington. Used to be on a show called Ron & Fez after O&A show. This guy is supposedly really funny and a comedian. No exageration, I gave him listen for a solid year: NOT ONE SINGLE CHUCKLE OUT OF ME! This guy has more dead air than any radio DJ should have, most of the time he makes no sense, and never ever shows any emotion. He has this straight line personality: never up or down just straight. I just don't get it!

Why does my adds think I want to go to the Asian Sanitary & Bathroom Accessories Show at the Hong Kong convention center?

Glitter. Especially fine glitter. It gets EVERYWHERE.

I'm glad my great-niece likes costumes like Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" and Wonder Woman. I'd be happy to get her a princess costume if I could find one that wasn't lousy with fine glitter.
Haha, don't I know it. My wife works at a Michael's Arts & Crafts. I'm forever finding little bits of it on her, and sometimes me!
