I'm glad my great-niece likes costumes like Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" and Wonder Woman. I'd be happy to get her a princess costume if I could find one that wasn't lousy with fine glitter.

Pickguards. They look as crappy as those plastic wind deflectors that people put on the front of their trucks.....or the clear plastic seat covers that people put on their furniture.

Or that vinyl thing they stick in their shirt pockets to hold a pen.

Pickguards look like something a noob would stick on a bass because they're so inept

I thought pickguards were made strictly for decoration, and not seriously for those who can't control their pick?? Really?

I deliberately keep my voicemail full. I figure that if you listen to my whole voicemail greeting saying specifically not to leave a message, but instead to email me, text me, or call at another time, and still think it's a good idea to leave a message for me, then sometimes the point has to be forced.

In times gone by you called somebody, left a message on the machine and they called you back. No problem. Easy peezy.

Now I have to put up with a load of primadonna bullsh*t from them which translates to:-
'Maybe I'll call you back...or maybe I won't. Actually I don't care. I'm too busy Twittering, Facebooking, looking up stupid videos on the net and all manner of time-wasting stuff to be accountable for anything'.

A guy that I work with does it ALL THE TIME to the point I start saying NO right after he says it each and every single time.

I have stopped people who say "You know" during conversations and said, "No, I don't know."

I hear that on speeches and interviews often where the person says, "You know" after every few sentences.

Another one is when people keep saying, "Like" when they are talking to you. I will ask, "Like what?"

Oh I hate the like thing and I caught myself doing it and made myself stop. I also told my daughter if she ever talks "like" she is from the valley, I would go nuts!
