Things that annoy you

I don't think as well as I did 20 years ago. Every passing year it gets worse. Every passing year I care less.

This annoys me no end.
For me it's sort of similar. In my case it is that I think a lot better than I did 20 years ago but also every year I care less. I think it's because I've successfully wrapped the world in a context that puts it in perspective. To say more would violate the site rules on discussing religion.

It was a poor choice of words to say I don't think as well. It just takes a great deal more effort to think because I have to rummage through a lot more stored information. I have or have had a broad range of interests in my cognizant years on this planet and my ears perk at certain topics. That I cannot readily recall the specific nomenclature so that I don't sound like an idiot while discussing those topics annoys me no end.

It's easily noticeable that they are bike only lanes. They have white painting on the street as well as green painted stretches of the lane as well as barriers blocking cars from entering the lanes...

....and why do they paint those stretches in green paint? To me, that just encourages the average car driver to think that's space for vehicles despite any other markings. They should have (in your town and mine) painted those bike lanes/bike boxes in red or yellow or something.

In Seattle, the green painted lanes come up in areas where the bike only lane intersects with motor vehicle lanes.
It is meant to raise awareness for motor vehicle operators that they are entering an area where they will share the road with bicyclists.
Which brings me back to....if you didn't have bike only lanes, then you wouldn't need to tell motor vehicles operators that they are about to enter an area on the street where bicyclists are riding also.
It just seems to add to the confusion for many drivers that now they also need to discern when to and not to be aware of bicyclists sharing lanes with them.
Then I can go on about the bicyclists.

Condescending reply posts. Sometimes we do have logic in what we are asking/saying. Sorry we can't be as smart as you.
Awww, look at you! Using big words like "condescending" as if you know what that word means! Who's a good boy?! WHO'S A GOOD BOY?!?!

Totally messin' with you, of course!;)

I use a Nerium product my wife sells. It gave me my mind back.
