Those little pop-up banner ads by Bell on Discovery channel and also the ones on CTV.
At first they were at the bottom of the screen. Now they've moved them up right towards the center of the screen.
I hate CTV. I try never to watch anything on that channel but sometimes I have to record something for my wife.
Obviously these stations don't give a damn about your viewing experience. They don't care how they screw it up for you.

How about the a-holes who drive slow as hell and then want to speed up when you go to pass them? I hate those bastards.
It was me. Last time I was at Target I wandered away from my cart for a bit (the store was not crowded) and absent-mindedly came back to it. Several aisles later I checked the contents of this cart, only to find an article of clothing that mystified me. I picked it up and thought "What was l thinking? I would not be caught dead...oh. Not my cart."

Just watch the videos the same way. Or is it too much trouble to reorient your super 8 projector screen to vertical?

I don't go to Target...ever. and I rarely go to "cafes'. However I don't live in a cave 24/7/365...It Always amazes me when the twice a year occasion occurs that I DO go into a Starbucks and see umpteen people in there who apparently have no jobs. Doesn't matter what time of day it may be... Do those people live there?

Local TV affiliates who are underpowered (or limited bandwidth) that cause action to blur on HD programming. If you can't afford to upgrade your equipment, let someone else have the franchise. The mother network must not care, so they're equally at fault.
TV stations who choose to show a standard def version of a movie over the HD version. They actually have choices, and it's cheaper for them to show the non-HD versions. I got that right from the horse's mouth.
Stations who stretch non-HD programming to fit 16:9 or other widescreen aspect ratio. Stretching it to fit the screen doesn't convert it to HD and I'd like to think most of the viewers know that. They have ZERO respect for viewers.

When there's a big thunder storm and the power goes out. Good thing I have flashlights and a battery powered amp.
