When housemates or guests put the coffee pot back on the warmer crooked, so only a corner of it is touching the heat...
And what's so hard about pushing the 'stop drip' lever over after it's finished brewing before removing the pot to get a cup?? it always coughs up a drip or 2 that sizzles on and strains the hot plate (that the coffee pot doesn't always make it on to correctly!)

Time for this:
No good, I'd use like 6 of those things a day. Almost everybody in this house drinks multiple cups. We go thru a 16oz bag of beans in a little over 2 days using the Ninja... it does everything but start your car in the morning >
Please tell me you only grind the beans right before you prepare the coffee.

Almost always, with the exception of the first daily drip, which I set before going to bed at night. We trained the 12yo to press the button as soon as she wakes up, then her mom gets up 10 minutes later. They're usually on the 2nd pot by the time I wake up. Most mornings see at least 3-4 full ones made by noon, since there's like 6 of us here that drink multiple cups.
My morning ritual is 2 hours of TB with 4-6 cups
It also starts my day in a bad way when (A) I wake and find a cold or empty pot, (B) when people try to talk to me during my morning ritual, asking hard questions like "How are you today?"

I think that might be overkillWhatever, I got mine as a gift and it's been awesome. Perfect cup a joe every time.
They are super tasty, but if you drink a lot of coffee on the regular, the amount of throwaway packaging adds up to a lot. Are those lil cups recyclable at least? I would think (& hope so)
That's another thing that annoys me, people who think they are all eco-centric, you don't poop, use toilet paper, leave your cigarette butts and diapers all over the place and don't have a sewage system. No respect, no respect at all!
