I'm not militant about the subject, but the fact that there's a swirling island of plastic crap 2× the size of Texas floating around in the beautiful Pacific Ocean annoys me more than trying to slightly reduce my household output of garbage and things that take decades to biodegrade.

World's largest collection of ocean garbage is twice the size of Texas

Hey, I'm not taking it the wrong way, that's why the RD pic is there :D

Yeah, I know all about that, and it's a joke. I know for a fact my stuff goes to waste recycling, not to the ocean. Besides, that all comes from the current from the East, not from the US.

Depends where the graffiti is displayed. Sanctioned murals on businesses and creative tags in blazing colors can really vibe up a section of town.

I'll take a colorful neighborhood any day over a bland semi suburban community of homes that must conform to a homeowners ass'n rules that everything be uniform and subdued.

Train yards, tresles, and abandoned old manufacturing structures can get really artsy looking.

(I don't condone vandalizing small businesses or people's private props.)

And what's so hard about pushing the 'stop drip' lever over after it's finished brewing before removing the pot to get a cup?? it always coughs up a drip or 2 that sizzles on and strains the hot plate (that the coffee pot doesn't always make it on to correctly!)

The size of the projects I used to work on varied.
We'd either have one of these or several or more running all day, sometimes yielding 50 to 100 refills per day:

Some would place the decanter back on the burner whether it had several tablespoons of liquid left or it was completely empty. Others at least would place it off center so only one dry edge would be affected.

Others would ignore the empty coffee cup strategically placed between the decanter's handle and the filter basket alerting people that "coffee is being brewed and still dripping...please look and wait for the dripping to stop".

They would then proceed to hold their empty cup underneath the filter basket (or place it on top of the burner), fill their paper cup and replace the decanter while the coffee is briefly dripping on the burner.
At least some had the klass to hold their dirty construction finger against the basket's drip hole to stop most of the liquid from splashing on the burner.

The worst was this one who guy who always seemed to get there when it was just starting to drip, remove the decanter and hold his paper cup underneath while he was strategically and alternately twisting and turning the filter basket back and fourth/east and west, to make sure the water was dripping on all the dry/stronger grounds, leaving the rest of the crew slightly watered down product!

^^ At one job, we briefly tried to appoint one person per scheduling period to make coffee, keep the refills happening, and order supplies if ness.
You would think we asked them to work overtime over Christmas there was so much moaning about this simple job.

^^^^Some folks like to do it, others don't.

Some would do it only because it gave them a little break over doing more physically demanding work.

When it was empty, I would volunteer occasionally simply to make sure decanter and basket was somewhat clean.

If the decanter started caking-up, we'd just throw in a handful of 4 or 6 finish nails, add a little bit of water, swirl them round and round, dump the contents, then rinse...hopefully!

No matter what vehicle I plug the USB for my iPod 160 into, it always goes into the repeat all songs in the current p/l mode.
Nerve-wracking on large lists, but even worse if it's a smaller p/l.

There is an option on some audio screens to activate/deactivate that, but it never works as the iPod is already locked, even when the repeat mode was previously off.

I then have to unplug it, navigate over to the settings screen, then all the way back to the previous folder, then p/l and hopefully remember what list I was in!

Yes I do have way too many folders and playlists which I have recently cut by half, but which needs to be done at least one more time.
