I'm pretty sure you only use that once you get to the make out spot.Sadly, yes. Whoever thought it was a good idea was no doubt fired no long after.
While there were turntables sold in cars, this looks like an AI generated fake.

Milky way, rubber band power glider and a Batman comic. When I was a kid in the 1960’s in Canada, 25 cents would buy you a bottle of pop (15) and a bag of chips (10).
I found my dads paychecks from 1950. $40 / week. so thats about right.
I love this 1966 Kent TV commercial.
It's over 5 minutes long because of different lyrics, but the melody and catch phrase are always the same.
You won't have to listen to it more than a minute to get the idea.
"The Taste of Kent, The Taste of Kent, THE TASTE OF KENT!!!! (that third one is practically shouting at you)
Makes me wonder if that wasn't some marketing exec's idea to get your attention.
Prolly not intentionally. That's what I was thinking. They were just trying to capitalize on the psychedelic fad to try to reach young people. And did anyone actually put that poster on their wall?![]()
Fine if yer sittin' still. Maybe while makin' out in the back seat.
Ram brought back the Dude pickup just recently. Sadly though, Don Knotts won't be around to advertise it for them.
Can't ever find my time machine when I need it.

I loved that movie when it came out, lost count of the number of times I saw it and read the book. Strangely enough. I have had a yearning to watch it again in the last few weeks, but have yet to look for it in earnest.Nice! I for one enjoy comics and movies where the characters are wearing dryer ducts for space suits.
We watched 2001: A Space Odyssey in 4K last night. A fair amount of duct work in that movie, too
