I don't either. I had a pretty decent sized collection.I don't remember how much the little bottles of paint cost.

Might have been a local thing. I never had to.By the 70s we needed a parent to buy it.
Used it a lot. I had a pretty good sized book case of models.
Me too! Had all the WWII planes and the latest (1950s 1960s) fighter jets (F86, F100, F104 etc) and a large collection of ships (USS Missouri, Nautilus sub, Fletcher class destroyers, USS Forrestal carrier, PT109 etc).
I had a few planes. Mostly cars. I've been a car guy since I knew what a car was.
Our very own Paul Boyer (TB member) knows a thing or two about the subject. My model collection was cars (mostly AMT 1/25). My basement work table looked like an automotive wrecking yard, with parts separated into different piles. I liked the AMT 3 in 1 models because you got extra parts to build the car as stock, hotrod or custom. Those extra parts would end up on different cars. Also, after building a car, I would have it on my shelf for a while, then take it to the basement, dismantle it and use the parts to build it into something else.
I enjoyed many hot summer hours down in the cool basement creating model cars my way.
COOL!!!!!!!Our very own Paul Boyer (TB member) knows a thing or two about the subject.

Did you have a guitar?
Including the organ.

Just give me the dime and I'll use it wherever. How old is the "bill" from the 1880's?
Still have some of those.
There was a restaurant here not that long ago that had the internet go out so often that they kept those and a machine and used it!
