Found some pretty great old records inside, too...
I worked in a print shop for 2 weeks once. During orientation I was shown a door and told never to go in that room.
Two weeks later, the FBI raided the place. That room was where the owners were counterfeiting U.S. currency. End of job.
Okay everyone knows about vinyl records, but my grandparents had some of these in their collection shellac 78 records
they also came in colors
Funny, those prices don't seem all that low, given the cost of some of the lowend models available today.
Based on the economy in the 1960s, guitars were not cheap. My mother bought me an Audition guitar in 1966 at Woolworth's for $35.00. Considering that minimum wage was $1.40, that was a quite a bit of work she had to do to pay for that guitar. I greatly appreciate my mother for buying me my first guitar and my drum pad, sticks, and drum instruction book at age 10.

We had one of these at Old Chicago, a short-lived indoor amusement park. The operators were very skilled at manipulating the controls when a good looking girl in a miniskirt was riding.

I had a big ole Ford lawn tractor, back when we lived in rural Columbus area. Had a snow plow for it and everything!
