That sounds like some crazy stuff. As a person who loves sardines sandwiches and can't get enough anchovies on his pizza or Cesar salad I'm not so sure I'd try that stuff. Kinda sounds gross even to me. Not to mention it looks like vasoline.
If they still made it I would voluntarily send some, just to see the reactions.
I do rather like smoked herring, though. I guess I could dump some in the blender...
Yes, I knew it was, but I didn't include them because I'd heard they were trying to overturn that law there.
I actually like the idea because it is another entry level job opportunity, therefore reducing unemployment and welfare, I didn't have to get out in the cold or rain to pump gas.

And most prices in NJ are pretty cheap as well. Passing through NY City, it's worth planning the trip to buy gas there.
We have one station in Newtown that pumps gas - it's 1 or 2 cents more per gallon, but in bad weather, it's worth it if the wait isn't too long.
I don't mind it, but it can lead to longer waits to fill up.
In Nebraska it's pump your own but they're supposed to pump it for people who are handicapped and can't or have trouble doing it themselves.
Unfortunately there is an out that says if the person(s) working are too busy the can ignore the person. That has turned into if the attendant is busy texting, talking, reading the paper, and anything else they can think of to not help they just ignore it and hope they go somewhere else.
Gas in most of CT isn't any more expensive than in NE. Except in the smaller towns and the tourist areas of CT where it can be and usually is 40¢ to 50¢ more a gallon than the bigger towns. But then again in Lincoln there is a near monopoly by one family on petrol and gas inside the city is usually more expensive than on the interstate. Also more expensive on the south side of town than the north as it's a more affluent part of town.

This case always carried lighting spares. Spare bulbs, clamps, gels, gel-frames, and a small backup twelve channel controller, for in-case the main lighting console crapped out. ...Well we left it behind somewhere.
