"Mean Man"? Is this before he got the name "Bluto"?
I was wondering the same thing. There was Bluto and Brutus but it was the same character.
In the 50s, Disney sued King Features to change Bluto's name because it was too close to Pluto, and rumors swirled tha Pluto was just a Bullydog.
I had to look that up! Thanks for the history lesson.

Cinnamon and sugar mixture for sprinkling on buttered toast, ca. 1960s and 1970s. Before that, it was sold in a teddy bear shaped glass jar with a shaker top. I see from searching that now it's sold in other containers.
Why they picked an owl, I'll never know.
