Oh please that isn't why they went. They went because of technology and the internet and more specific: streaming! That is what resulted in every video store closing. I did hear of one still being around which baffles me.
You are correct. The Family Video Store chain is still in business and doing well. We have a few of them in my area. They are the only video stores remaining in most towns.
