I still want one of those!
One of the greatest mornings of my life was when I sort of temporarily stole one of them. I was about 12 years old and my older brother borrowed one from a friend for a weekend we were spending at a relatives cabin. It was in the boondocks of Ct. with miles of dirt roads and woods. The mini bike was off limits to me - I wasn't allowed to touch it, so I did what any 12 year old would. Woke up before everyone else, wheeled it out of the garage and down the road, and started it up.
I had a freaking blast. Got the crap scared out of me too cuz along the way a German Shepard started chasing me (the pit bulls of the 70s). He was faster than the mini bike. I was certain God was punishing me, and I was dead meat. I was crazy happy the dog just wanted to play.
LOL, I have a story about those places too, but can't post it.

Or don't want to post it.
I worked as a messenger in midtown Manhattan when I was 17-18 yrs. old. That was a very crazy place to be back in the late 70s.

Did any of you do that thing where you touch this globe thing, holds hands, and the person at the holds a bulb and it lights up?
