I STILL have an original Tiger Tail that was given out by gas stations. It has a small loop of elastic that allows it to loop around the filler neck so that the filler door can close. The tail hangs nicely and proudly tells you that you have "a tiger in the tank."

In our neck of the woods in Pennsylvania, those were called Boron gas stations.

Thrift Drug Stores went through many changes along its history starting in 1935. It was part of J.C. Penney for many years, then became part of Eckerd Drugs and then eventually some stores became CVS and Rite-Aid stores.
