Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

Come to Canada, we still have these. My favourite with Beefaroni a close second. :)

They were my favourite also. When they were discounted in the US in the late 80’s or early 90’s, I remember finding a stash at a K-mart and grabbing both cases off of the shelf. Found treasure!:hyper:

I’ll have to look for them the next time I’m in Canada. Though I no longer eat mammals, my brother would remember them.

They’re harder to find than “Lasagna” which is meatball-less Roller Coasters. Good as well and available everywhere.

Yup, I must be the Cliff Clavin of Chef Boyardee!

I use a lot of pencils in my work and I loathe a blunt pencil. Lately I have come to despise electric sharpeners for a variety of reasons. I told my supply lady to send me an old fashioned manual pencil sharpener. Mind you, this request was place some time ago, I had forgotten about it.... It arrived today after they had searched the internet high and low for one. So, I am guessing then that this may now qualify as things you don't see anymore.

Not quite.
Rare, but....

I have a couple in my warehouse. So much better than the stupid electrics that keep breaking.

Staples still sells those manual pencil sharpeners like you just got. I have one of these types.

Mount that thing to the wall and enjoy.
Also see how many youngsters ask what it is. :bored:

This is mine, it lives in the garage. It has 20+ years of great service, and will easily give 20 more.

Paper tape. We used to use this stuff to write and save digital data with PDP11 machines and the like back in the 70's. To plot data, we'd go to the plotter facility with rolls of this stuff in hand.

I still have a paper tape copy of the game "Dungeon" in BASIC saved in a box somewhere in the garage....

Not counting laser tag or combination restaurant/party/arcade places like Chuck E. Cheese's and Dave & Buster's, are there any purely video game arcade places still out there?
We do in Portland. It is called Ground Kontrol, over 60 classic games and 27 pinball machines. For more info> Games
Them darn Adultkids love their beer and old arcades.
