Record “albums”! My Dad had some of these with 78’s. Not many people nowadays know where the term record album came from.
Same here! We also had the Hydro Electric plant that was built with the same girders and panels.
A few months ago I bought an '03 Pathfinder that still has the stock AM/FM cassette player. Not a fan (plus the rear speakers are disconnected), so I bring my own external Bluetooth speaker and stream music and podcasts from my phone
Personally, I'm glad that these are "Things You Don't See Anymore".

Oh, my! I played the crap out of Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon and The Beach Boys' Surf's Up on my cassette player through terrible speakers in my '69 VW Beetle. Now it's all-digital, umpteen speakers in a Subaru Outback. Guess those weren't the good old days...
While the car was probably different, I sure as heck remember the cable and steering wheel/battery control!
Mine was a police car with a "gum ball machine" light on it that worked.
Who remembers cassette tape to 8-track tape adapters?
