Sometimes...like once a decade?...the change of the seasons inspires some Deeep Cleaning.
Look what I found!
I was not there. I got it in Plains when I went there to see Willie Nelson, in 1985.
1976...
As a Teacher, Nancy got this in celebration of
Christa McAuliffe’s
upcoming flight.
1937...
...the tightest band I ever played in...1982-‘85...
1990...
For a moment there, he was the unparalleled Best Athlete In The World.
It was a joy to watch him!

My Discover card has no raised numbers. A credit card imprinter would be useless with it.
Some things are best left in the past.
Sometimes it's difficult to believe anyone thought some things were a good idea...
I love shopping at thrift stores...not enough to buy a flock of These...but I do love thrift store shopping.
But wait! That's not all you get! 
Spare tires. (New cars don't have them.)

Ya know, I kinda miss typewriters
I thought I did too, until I had occasion recently to use the manual typewriter on which I wrote the majority of my college papers. It was a vivid demonstration of the rose-colored filtering of nostalgia. Once I was done with it, I couldn't wait to get back on my computer(s).
However, on a related note, I can heartily recommend this documentary:
