I can only guess that's become the default standard now (hipster-fueled typewriter fad notwithstanding). It's certainly the way we work around here. ;)

The TRS-80 (or "Trash 80" as it was derisively called) holds a certain sentimental place for me, because it was the first-ever computer to land on my school campus at the time. It was exclusively for one particular class, of which I was a part (even the admin office was still all-analog). Having access to that machine was like being a member of the most exclusive club we'd ever known. The mere word "computer" didn't even register as having any meaning to anyone besides the 8-10 people in that one class. Kind of amazing to think about now.

It's easy to chuckle at it in retrospect, but back then, it was a very early glimpse of what was to come. :thumbsup:
