On the other hand, you could pick up a couple bags of poptops, and make them into chains for a hanging curtain door.

Hadn't seen one like that before. The ones I remember were chains, one clip folded over the loop of the next ring, and then nailed up side-by-side to mimic the bead-string curtains which were popular at the time. You could move the strings aside with one hand, and because the rings were wider than the clip, generally would not contact the sharp edge of the clip and so didn't risk cuts.

Odd. I've seen every one of the 79 original series episodes at least several dozen times and don't recall seeing an astro helmet or rocket pistol.
