Scam aside, that is a lot of musical variety!
I had joined RCA Music Club, only got 6 free ones, but only had to buy four instead of eight. Not really a bad deal, until I forgot to send in the form saying I did not want to purchase the pick of the month. Got stuck with the double album by Fleetwood Mac (Tusk, I think). As a metalhead, I had no use for that MOR pop music, and $15 was a lot for me back then to drop on an album I didn't want.
