Used to have a Kent microphone. We took the grill off the front and wadded up some material to stuff in it so it didn’t sound so tinny.

These were staple in the mid to late 60's...every time we went to Kmart I would usually get one of these. Big Little Books. Must have had two dozen or more. From Woody Woodpecker, Tom & Jerry, Aquaman, Dick Tracy, Lassie...even Daktari and The Invaders. What memories.
I remember when they were selling these t- shirts. Loved the Thing and the Hulk emblems in tge second photo.
The Hardy Boys mystery books in hard cover. They were switched to paperback books in 1979. I still have a collection of the hard back books I got when I was a kid.

My grandmother gave me that entire hard cover set when I was very young, but for some reason, I didn't read many of them.The Hardy Boys mystery books in hard cover. They were switched to paperback books in 1979. I still have a collection of the hard back books I got when I was a kid.
Coincidentally enough, I just mentioned those Hardy Boys books to my wife earlier this week, regretting that I wished I had read them, while reminiscing about other childhood stuff. And then you post that pic...another example of great Pennsylvanian minds on similar wavelengths!
I read a Hardy Boy mystery or two, but I preferred Tom Swift.

I had one of those! Put it on a balsa frame airplane doped fabric fighter jet (f9f Panther?). Lots of fun! Only issue was it didn't go for very long.
What about this baby? Man, they always discontinue the coolest toys!
