I had no idea there were M*A*S*H action figures. I wonder if they were meant to be collectibles for adults, because I can't see kids wanting to play with them.

About the last guess I'd have for that face is Alan Alda.

I never of the these myself. Upon retrospect, I couldn't see these ever being big sellers anyway.

I DID however get a Switch N' Go Batmobile for Christmas either in' '66 or '67. I played this thing to death! Loved it.

Just noticed one on ebay for $450. Per the photo here, it too looks like it's been played with also. Nope, I'm not buying, but was tempted.

Hmmm.. I was around in that era, but didn't ever see a "switch & go" setup. I wonder if anyone has a youtube of one in action?

I don't think kids today do anything like that? We spent most of our young life's outside figuring out ways to have fun. When I was a kid I went out of the house in the morning jumped on my bike and didn't show up till dinner time. We played every sport that was in season and unless you were sick you were outside!

In Australia we used to build carts called ‘billy carts’. I have no idea where the name came from but they were very basic ad-hoc construction with no brakes and were steered by the feet or with rope attached to the front axle. They usually had old pram wheels or ball bearing wheels. They were downright dangerous but we had so much fun on them. The pram wheels weren’t as fast but they corned better or should I say they just conered at all. The bearing wheels were fast but useless in corners. Grazed knees and legs covered in thorns were often the result at the end of the day if some poor gardeners pride and joy was the resting place of a spectacular downhill run. How no-one ever got killed I’ll never know.

Dunno. I haven't checked. Odd you didn't see these around. Maybe they weren't sold up in the Great White North? Shame if that was so.
