Thinning Hair. NOT Hiding It

The little bastards have been running away since my early 20s. I’ll have to shave it all off in the next couple of years. My ear and nose hair is going strong though.

I've always had a full head of hair, and pretty thick. But about 15 years ago I decided to go for the 'shaved head with a goatee' look, and have stuck with it. My brother and brother-in-law have been losing their hair for years, and have tried in vain to keep every strand they have. They can't believe somebody with a full head of hair would choose to shave it off but I simply like it better.
About every few of years I'll let it grow back for a couple of months, but it seems to get to a certain length (about 2-3") then stop growing. Or maybe I just get tired of waiting for it to grow longer. Then I end up shaving it all off anyway. Funny, but each time I grow it back it gets a little grayer than it was the previous time.

A friend of mine started going totally grey around the same time I started going bald and he used to try to commiserate with me as if we were in the same boat. Pissed me off to no end. Balding in your twenties is a lot more traumatizing than going grey. I don’t care any more now that I’m approaching 40. I’m just more comfortable with myself. Although I’m thrilled at the fact that he’s losing his hair now too.
As my geetar player says, don't care what color it comes in, long as it don't come loose!
I've been fortunate. My dad & brother were both chromed by age 40. My hair is thinning now at 60.

I think the Borg Collective/Skynet joint task force already came up with a pill that grows hair but causes erectile distinction.

yes - now it's no coincidence that oly white/tort is my favourite livery. I've had three basses in that colour. Would love a Strat or a Tele in the same. I guess my face is the tort part? LOL!
