I've heard many times that baldness skips generations. My paternal and maternal grandfathers were bald. My dad had a mostly full head of hair to the end. If the skipping generations part was true, i should be bald.
Not that I'm complaining.
It's X linked which means the quickest it can be passed is father - daughter - grandson but skipped is the wrong way to look at it. The person you got the gene from won't be displaying it because of gender.
