Thinning the herd, What would you keep ?

So let’s hear your thoughts.
There ya go

So it’s time to thin the herd a bit. I have 7 basses that I may or may not sell. I still have all of the regular players separated out. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone’s opinions would be, as which to keep or sell and why.

Keep 1, 2 & 5

The maple board P5 and rosewood board P4 basses can cover everything except what the P/J model can do with a blend of the J bridge p/u (or the J p/u soloed).

I would sell all of the 4 stringers and keep all of the 5s

So let’s hear your thoughts.

1. Sell the SR-500. Great all-arounder, good to bring to gigs, but wholly redundant with your stable, and totally common if you ever miss it.

2. Sell the 1991 MIM , swapping back its original pickup of course. Put the 63 vintage pup in #2 or #5.

#6 gives me GAS

Clearly you should sell them all and buy a Westone Rail

Well, I think between 1 and 2 I would do just fine. So that's what I'd keep.

Then I would buy another amp!
