You have multiple P basses. Everyone needs a good P bass. If your house was on fire, all you had was the P’s, and you only had time to grab one of them before the roof collapsed...
The one you’d grab in that scenario is a keeper.
The second keeper is the one that sounds the least like a P.
If you want to keep 3, the third would be the one that complements the other 2. Two basses that are similar? ditch one.
My approach is to cover as much territory as I can with relatively few basses.
Sell 'em all and buy a flock of Thunderbirds.
^ THIS. Every bass on your list is easily replaceable.I'd say sell all 7 and get something that you're really excited about!
Keep this one & sell the rest.View attachment 3259117 This is my favorite at this point, 57 AVRI Roasted. The neck is incredible, and it weighs 7.3lbs. It’s a definitely a keeper.
Sell them all, and buy your wife something nice.
Keep #7, sell the rest and go on a really nice vacation. If you can't do it with a solid P, you can't do it!So it’s time to thin the herd a bit. I have 7 basses that I may or may not sell. I still have all of the regular players separated out. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone’s opinions would be, as which to keep or sell and why.
