Explain. Because it's Ampeg? What?
Are you not seeing that horrid paint job? The horrible green sparkle treble knob?
for $550 who cares?

Being stuck up should be illegal.
Were not sitting here and calling your coffee table basses ugly and rolling my eyes at your 7 band sweepable mid freq onboard pre-amp.
The seller probably bought it 3rd or 4th-hand. It's probably modded to hell (and 99% of it not in a good way). Missing feet, half-ass paint job (probably covering up some shotgun shot dents or something), mismatched knobs and an evil hum to boot. $50, yes. $550? OH hell no. I'm sure it makes sound...but try turning some knobs with the amp cranked up and I'll bet satellites fall from the sky and all the neighbor's garage doors start randomly opening and closing. The missing/mismatched knobs and feet provide zero functionality. But IMO, it's indicative of the trailer park, abusive life this amp has most probably led. Pass.
