It's one way of thinking, and a rather bleak way at that. IMO, the maker or makers of this video are trying a little too hard to be clever, but they're really just rehashing old stuff. You either believe it or you don't.

I think it gets the point over well.

I often wonder how humbled people would be by a civilization that's let's say just 1 billion years ahead of ours. But of course, that's utterly and entirely impossible, because... well you know.

I think they'd be over the religious arguments at least. With all the cellphone technology we have I'm astounded that in so many areas, to so many people, the world is still flat.

People are monkeys.

I'm slighly above monkey. :)

We've also come up with many wonderful things that go well beyond the few seconds of cool stuff that's mentioned in the video. I know the video was meant to lean heavily in a specific direction; I just wanted to add a little balance.

it doesn't change our nature tho. If human accepts itself as an animal, biologically it matches that of an ape.

What we achieve throughout our lifetimes that we all share doesn't change the animal nature that we carry.
