There’s an AD somewhere currently, reverb I think….

Seller wants $149.00 OBO for G&L case Candy which consist of envelope, authenticity certificate, build sheet(for a bass somewhere on the globe)and warranty card(I think)..

Although that now seems a better deal than a piece of masking tape, it’s still just pure greed. I’m weird I guess, if I had that documentation and someone proved ownership of that particular bass I’d send it to them for the price of a postage stamp.

Yep. Not so much in the bass world. But there are enthusiasts (and by enthusiasts I mean “suckers”) who swoon over that cloth tape. I specifically in restorations. Looks like an old bandaid.

If it's so ridiculous, don't buy it. See how that works? The seller is doing exactly what I would do... see if someone actually will pay money for this item.

I did two bathroom renovations some years back and put all the vintage bathroom parts on eBay... everything sold! I was shocked at some of the items that people bid on. Strangest item that sold was a pack of Dentyne gum from the early 70s that I found in the wall.
