Yep, I'm spoiled. I'm 45 years old (turned 45 today actually) and don't have a wife or kids (obviously) so there's no one there to say "you don't need to buy another damn SVT!"

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.

I've done my 70s SVT into two 810s and into my NV610 and an 810 and that was awesomely overkill, but 3 amps and 3 810s brings it to a new level! I like it a lot.

I can't believe we've gotten to two pages without someone suggesting the OP should be using a micro and a neo 12" cab.

More bass gear than guitar gear on stage is a beautiful thing!

Seriously - I have been progressively down-sizing my own rig 'cause I'm old and only do relatively small gigs/venues these days, but if you have the gear and the space (and the TRUCK!) to do it, why wouldn't you?
