The cruel irony is that if this was a 'for sale' thread over in the TB classifieds the OP could have closed it at his own discretion. I don't know about you guys, but I just love irony.

It appears the OPs position on this topic is more closed than the thread. Oh well, he raised what he thought were some good points only to find out that very few people shared his opinions. That's a live and learn moment. Unfortunately now that many have seen how he responded to the feedback he's probably lost some potential buyers and potential bumps for anything he may be selling, count me in that group.

That Conklin bass (TBer CoR on post #50) on the other hand is a phenomenal deal!

Well as I did about a year ago I got a 6 page response of a thread I started JAMES JAMERSON WAS NOT PLAYING A VINTAGE PRECISION in 1966 when he recorded MY GIRL--- for those of you around then or perhaps know the tune and have it on your ITUNES.
