thumb rest on ray34

hello fellow bassist, i finally gotten a ray 34 and i really like the bass, but im not used to resting my thumbs where the pups are. i want to get a thumb rest but i dont want to screw it into the bass. so i have 3 questions.
1) would gluing the thumb rest onto the pickguard be a good alternative.
2) where can i buy a thumb rest?
3) where can i buy ray 34 pickguards

Learn to not rest your thumb on a pickup or thumb rest...


Glue most likely would not hold, so don't waste your time with that.

I've had a thumbrest on my 4 string Stingray for the past 10 years and it hasn't fallen off or moved at all. I used some 3M two-way tape.
