Well, I ended up selling that TBird to a friend at work for £95, so I only ended up £5 down on my purchase which I'm not too bothered about. I really couldn't get used to the shape. When it comes down to it, I'm a P-bass guy when it comes down to shapes, and sound as well I guess. Not to say that the Tbird sound is bad though. I really like the idea of making a custom bass with one of those cheap build it yourself kits, so I may make one with some Tbird pickups. I got it and it was a bit dirty, and the strings needed changing, so I gave it a clean up and put my old spare P-bass strings on it. Sounded pretty good considering they were dead strings. The guy I sold it to hasn't had a bass before but he does play guitar so hopefully he'll get pretty into it. I did take some pictures though before I sold it, so here they are; the pictures of the bass I bought and sold within 24 hours (I did play it for a good 5 or so hours to try and get used to it!).
