Sure I use Lo Riders. Love them. Thought about flats for a moment but there is something about steel that I love.

IMHO T-birds already have that warm mellow sound and flatwounds, for me, would kind of muddy it up. Does anyone understand what I am saying? It's a personal choice as always...I am using rotosound's RS 66LO stainless steel roundwounds as the first strings that I put on my T-bird. There are others that I want to try but I'm unemployed and on a budget so changing strings on a whim is out of the question for me.
