Thunderbird Club

What do you guys reckon a 79 TBird is worth with a well repaired headstock break? Sunburst, reasonably tidy, some holes under the original bridge (now refitted) where a different bridge was once fitted, original covers and case.
In the UK you'd be looking at about £2000 - £3000 from a dealer, I haven't seen one for sale privately for years over here

Hey T-Bird enthusiast! I am looking for a fine Thunderbird myself these days... It could be a Gibson or a Lull T4. Let me know and PM if you have one you want to sell!
You are probably in the wrong place to find one for sale, except when there's duress involved. But it's a great place to get pointed toward one that somebody else is selling. When you find one, we can welcome you to to truth, light, and the thunderous way.

I saw a 2000 natural finish Gibson Bird on eBay this morning. It was very clean. Not the walnut finish but still looked good IMO.

I am questioning if I should hang on to my Bach NR or release it to the wild. It's a great bass but doesn't get a lot of use, but when I do play it I really enjoy it. I'm just starting to debate keeping gear that is not used all that often. My collection has gotten a bit out of hand these days. Decisions.............

Andy, I regret selling my BaCH NR, even though I really just play my Reverses out it was a great sounding (mine had a single Lull Pup) and playing bass, other than a '73 Rick, it's the only other I wish i hadn't sold.

So here's what's new:

Got my Volume pedal - this was taken with the active version last night before i took it back to exchange for the passive version (had way huge volume drop cause of the low gain on the active to not cause clipping). & the passive one just brought everything back to where it's supposed to be! This is the pedalboard design: 16 3/8" wide x 12" deep x TBD height. The korg & Bass D.I. will reside on top a shelf & the EQ will be placed under the tuner shelf & the DC brick (which will be my next purchase) will reside under the D.I. shelf. The cassettes mark the MXR Stereo Chorus & the Zoom is the Source audio Nemesis delay placement. Very compact, & will be building a box around it after to be able to carry safely around to gigs.
